When we think about the digital, is it still valid to oppose it as an image contrary to the physical and natural world? As much as one day this opposition has existed, the boundaries between what we experience as the real and the virtual are increasingly blurred. The pandemic period accelerated a process that had long been heralded by the science fiction imaginary. CHIMERA, as a work of Net Art, seeks to invoke the dreamcore and the digital, the dream and the pixel, the unconscious and the algorithmic logic not as extremes, but as parts of a chimerical monster that increasingly devours and creates our reality(s).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
