In the knock down – of mountains, construcctions or humanities–, in the precise moment of the calamity, arise the smoke the fog, the disintegrated debris. Whatever was observable from the collapse, whatever was possible to understand from that moment, it hides in the haze of desolation. A haze which repeats, that links a misfortune with an other one, a human being with a collective, the odd with the common. Someone who stop existing represents all deaths. In «Abrazar el aire, apretar los dientes» I ask the reader to inmerse themself in keywords of ‘papers’ in the which they look for a cure for child’s cancer which cut short the life of the protogonist of this book of poems. In the ocean of words, the veiled concepts, the exhausting glance –created to confuse how one loses who finds himself overnight wrapped in a veil of desolation–, exist in the poem like a handle. And such as a tribute to who they confront and resist the injustice in there existence. I would wished that this literature was like a cloud of signs capable to envelop physically the public, a tangible whirlmind of letters in three dimensions and virtual reality. Not being capable to break the limit that imposing the flatness, I believe in the ecfrasis and the poetry that arises also from the disonnance of jazz, in the figures that forms when words couldn’t reach.
