Auguries of Innocence is a personal visual exploration of a fragment of William Blake’s poem, by the same name, by Celina Collot and interpreted with movement by Mexican-based performing arts collective – Mestizos Crew. Auguries of Innocence is a collection of conflicting situations written as a kind of prophetic judgment. It pits the innocent against the mature, the rich against the poor, the elite against the underprivileged, and invites the audience to recognize the fragile beauty and balance found within nature.
Through this film piece we aim to represent through a modern and international perspective and bring it to a public than may never have heard of it before, translating and allowing self-exploration.

Celina is a French-Mexican filmmaker, photographer and creative director based between London and Berlin. From literature, photography to moving image, Celina has been navigating narratives for over 10 years. Studying a bachelor’s in Audiovisual Production in Mexico and complementing it with a video specialization in Switzerland. Celina works in commercial fields focusing on fashion and contemporary art.
