A Arte em uma palavra
2022
The video poem “A arte em uma palavra” (The art in one word) is part of the Vocalize series, from Experimental Poetry, in which it proposes poems with a concretist aspect that are only abstracted and converted into rhythms and norms typical of indigenous languages. The syllables, solfejos and vocalizations are accompanied by textual graphic elements, which intersect between sound and image. His words are vocalized, stammered, recited or sung, interacting with graphic movements, in dialogue with Visual Poetry. The verbal statements are abstract, therefore assemantic, they do not evoke meanings, they do not transmit messages or fabled narratives, or they do not prevent you from formulating your perceptions or simply enjoying the vocal sounds.
AI Context
The constant experimental poem in this videopoem was initially written in Portuguese, the language of the colonizers of Brazil. With AI resources, its morphology was deconstructed – at the abstract level – and recreated with the rhythm and syllable typical of two languages of the predominant linguistic trunk of Brazilian indigenous ethnic groups.
