Intercourse with my multifunctional mutant clone
2024
Video in zinematographic gestures for “Intercourse with my multifunctional mutant clone”, a track of the same name from the musical album “CyBorgasmOrgy” from the Ciberpajé project (aka. Edgar Franco), from erogore (erotic gore), called POSTHUMAN WORM. The visual work was created and directed by me, a zineaster and transmedia artist AMANTE DA HERESIA (aka Léo Pimentel). I animated, in digital craftsmanship, images of post-human genitals generated by AIs. For which I created prompts that circumvented the restrictions on creating inappropriate material. And as the tone was ironic, the style of the images were very caricatural and in black and white. The result was an entertaining video filled with (visual) figures of speech imperceptible to machinic sensibilities.
AI Context
At the beginning of 2024, I was invited to create a video art piece, through my zinematic gestures, for a work of abstract and post-human eroticism. To do so, I decided to create static images of transhuman genitals, which I would then animate in the video. Irony was the guiding principle of the piece. That was when I decided to generate them using some free generative artificial intelligence. However, it was clear that such images would not be produced due to the platform’s usage policies. Thus, my prompts had to be written in a way that bypassed those restrictions. Guaranteed fun for me, since I had to constrain the polysemy of language so that the machinic imagination would not identify any trace of eroticism. From this, the idea emerged that we can tell artist’s lies to AIs and, through them, generate artistic elements without giving up polysemy and figures of speech, which are intrinsic to our analog intelligences.

Bio
Punk and anarchist, since 1990. And, 2000, I became cyberpunk. Disobediences that made me be where I was not called. Thus, at university, I studied philosophy, undergraduate and master’s degrees, at UnB. Iconoclast, I began to philosophize through the most diverse artistic expressions. In 2021, I got my PhD in Art and Visual Culture. Then I will complete my postdoctoral degree, in 2024. Both from UFG. From zine-maker, zineasta and muzinista, I recognize myself today as a transmedia artist.
