Na boca
2025
“Na boca” is a video poem of brief and repetitive structure that is part of my research and practices focused on the articulation between voice, language, body, sound, and moving image. Through the recurrence of the expression “na boca” (in the mouth), the work proposes the mouth as a space of both material and symbolic transit , a site where saying, friction, transmission, and vital emergence interlace. The poem operates as a visual sonic-verbal fabric, through the layering of elements, including vocal layers (with my own voice and voices generated by artificial intelligence), as well as layers of images and sounds, composing flows that reverberate devenirs between human and machinic bodies. This entanglement of voices and layers is part of the concept I call Corporeal-imagetic — the imagined corporeal landscape — images that a body becomes capable of modulating and reverberating in relation to other bodies in devenirs: humans, animals, plants, machines, instruments, objects, earth, territory, and beyond.
AI Context
It is a visual sonic poem of mine, for which I created layers of voices, combining different AI-generated voices with my own. The idea was to mix human voices with machine voices—often themselves derived from human voices—and to feel how they resonate together.
