“My thinking over the past few years has revolved around the word — what is said and what is unsaid — the (im)possibility of communication. I seek to create, through the forced use of elements of oral and written communication, a new possibility of language that allows me to reach the meaning of meaninglessness through an exploration that appears incomprehensible. What I pursue, by inventing words and using them naturally, is to question the power of words to designate: what happens when they no longer represent, and yet a possible interpretation of the discourse still exists? Words without referents, stripped of things, begin to speak of other things, in another way, with another scope and a new meaning. I invent words that sound unfamiliar, but through the narrative, clues for decoding arise. I invent a new place, a new exploration. New words for new experiences: it is about rethinking everything once again. This exploratory and experimental path is a space of freedom. It goes beyond poetry, beyond words. It is a de-hierarchized artistic practice that does not seek to establish itself through affirmation, but through doubt, questioning, and inquiry. For this particular work, I turned to humor and artificial intelligence (AI) to give voice to a ceramic piece created by artist Silvina Cavallaro, immersed in a chaotic world made through various artistic processes.”
AI Context
AI was used as a tool to bring together elements of diverse origins: letterpress printing + digital painting + ceramics + audio.
