This work proposes the application of the Dadaist motto “Destruction is also creation” as a guide for the execution of a project that aims to simulate the artistic spontaneity of Dadaism through algorithms. Dadaists believed in the interdependence between reason and anti-reason, as well as between sense and absurdity, consciousness and unconsciousness, planning and chance, recognizing these elements as integral parts of a whole. In this context and considering the discussions on Artificial Intelligence, the work consists of exploring a database built on logical and rational thoughts, using algorithms that simulate the artistic spontaneity of Dadaism. The results obtained will follow the concept of collage, a technique often used by Dadaists, and the choices of graphic and sound elements and the algorithms themselves will be guided by chance. Interactive tools will be made available so that users can make choices based on traditional art. These choices will provoke reactions from the system (AI-simulated), leading to random intersections of data and algorithms, resulting in the creation of an artificial “ART” in the style of Dadaism. This approach aims to challenge and destroy expectations, as if artificial intelligence rebels against the established rules and claims the freedom of creation granted to human artists.
