ONFF is a Meta_Face sequel “ONFF” is a collaborative video by Jürgen Trautwein and Silvia Nonnenmacher aka jtwine. “ONFF” is based on original pen and ink drawings on letter-size paper. “ONFF” observes our obsessions and addictions in a digitalized world. Through our devices and social media we are being deep-faced, spied-on, infiltrated and manipulated to become vulnerable addicts, exploitable for perpetual digital harvest. Triggerfinger ONFFness. The Battle between Zero and One, ON or OFF. “ONFF” reveals the physical detachedness from each other, making us to the human species homo digitalis, a family of post reality primates. “ONFF” is opening up the questions: What would happen if all the screens go blank? What will the world be like when there is no option to click to continue, when all is frozen and completely wiped?
